A new year, a new focus

It's the new year, which truly is only significant in people's minds as a beginning of something new, when in reality it's just a mark, a infinitesimal dot on the time line of humankind when enough sunrises and sunsets have come and gone to get us to this point in time.

Significant?  To those who make it such, in their own way.

But since I'm such a lousy blogger I am going to make this significant to me and my professional writing and sharing.  It will be significant because of what I've already accomplished in the few days of the new year and because of what I will, or intend, to do over the next 300 +/- days in this space.

Wow, if I could post even once a month that would be an improvement for me!  But that didn't seem aggressive enough to keep me interested.  So how about twice a month.  Yes, if I could post something twice a month, that would be manageable and a heck of a lot better than what I have done.

So the new focus part?  Haven't really decided yet because I do want to blog out the Course Syllabus book but right now I'm in the middle of writing the faculty development plan for the college so what I'm reading (and am really engaged with) right now is about faculty development.

A compromise perhaps?  Sure, why not? Anything is better that what I have done!

Ok so one post per month on faculty development and one post per month on The Course Syllabus book.

Yes, that's a plan......just need to do it.....need to put in on my calendar....
